Duane Underwood of Havana was back from Iraq and readjusting to normal life, which seemed pretty hectic with one pregnant daughter to visit in Texas and a new grandchild to visit in North Carolina. Underwood had been in Iraq for three months working to develop a skilled and productive work force. A retiree of the Florida Dept. of Labor, she had been asked by the US Dept. of Labor to go to Iraq. “We were there to rebuild the Ministries of Labor and Social Affairs,” she said.
