Harold Royce Kelly, Sr., 80, of Havana, FL, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee.
The funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Havana First Baptist Church with Dr. Eric Erskine officiating. Interment followed at Concord Cemetery with Tommy Houck, Charles Houck, Gene Smith, Chuck Osmin, Monroe Rogers, Bruce Benson serving as active pallbearers.

Mr. Kelly was born September 1, 1933 in Moultrie, GA, the son of the late Carl Kelly and Lois Kelly Matthews. He graduated from Moultrie High School, then from Norman College with a degree in Accounting. After more than 30 years he retired from Winn-Dixie Supermarkets, being in the top ten managers of the Florida / Georgia district many years. He also established Kelly Farms where he was the owner / operator.
In October of 2013, he was honored by Gadsden County Farm Bureau for his innovation and pioneering in his produce division at Kelly Farms. Mr. Kelly was a member of Havana First Baptist Church. He loved to fish and hunt, never taking much time for either. His passion was his work.
He is survived by his sons Harold Royce Kelly, Jr. (and wife Suzanne) and Mark Kelly, all of Havana, six grandchildren, Miranda, Rachel, Stephen, Jessica, Jennifer and Elizabeth, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Kelly was preceded in death by his wife Christine Kelly in 1999, his daughter Jan Marie Kelly in 2009, daughter-n-law Terry NeSmith Kelly in 2013 and his two brothers Carl Kelly and Devon Kelly.
