James Joseph “Jim” Reamer

Memorial services for James Joseph “Jim” Reamer, 89, of Cairo, GA, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Bill Bess will officiate. Mr. Reamer passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at his home in Grady County, GA.
Mr. Reamer was born on May 6, 1924, in Keewatin, MN, to the late Jacob Reamer and Mary Anne Biermaier. He was a builder and contractor that built many fine homes in this area. On December 15, 1949, he married Pearl French Reamer, who preceded him in death on August 29, 2013.
Survivors include: two daughters, Deborah Bray of Tampa, FL, and Jacqueline Nash (James) of Dunellon, FL; two sons, Danny Reamer of Cairo, GA, and Mark Reamer of Quincy, FL; grandchildren, Kimberly Rosenstock of Gainesville, FL, Carey Perez of Dunellon, FL, Brandt Rosenstock of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Matthew Bray of Seattle, WA, Taylor Bray of Plant City, FL; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Reamer was preceded in death by: his parents; his sisters, Lillian Carle, Irene Law, Helen Spicer, Patricia Quaife; his brothers, Bill Reamer and Bob Doyle.
The family will receive friends immediately after the service at Clark Funeral Home.
