He later moved to Rochester, New York at an early age where he lived and worked for 33 years until he became disabled and moved back to Gadsden County.
A Time to Mourn: Douglas McArthur Daniels passed away suddenly on July 23, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, David Daniels, Jr. and Eugene Daniels of Rochester, New York, and 1 sister, Betty Ann Long of Havana, Florida. He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted caretaker and brother, Deacon Jimmie L. Daniels (Ofelina) of Tallahassee, Fl., 2 nephews, Jimmie L. Daniels, Jr. and Mark A. Daniels of Rochester, N.Y., 2 nieces, Sharon Denise of Tallahassee, Fl., and Stacey Michelle Daniels of Rochester, N.Y., and 1 grandnephew, Jordan A. Wilson of Tallahassee, Fl.
It broke our hearts to lose you Mack as a part of us went with you. The day God called you home, he saw you getting weary and he did what he knew was best. He put his arms around you and whispered, come my child and rest; loving you always, Brother Deacon Jimmie Daniels.
