Scott Lee Eiland, 48, of Havana, FL passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at his residence.
The funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel in Havana. Interment followed at Concord Cemetery with Military Honors, and Pastor Bill Bess officiating.

Scott was born August 17, 1964 in Jacksonville, FL. The son of John L. Eiland and the late Jean Marie Billings Eiland, Scott was a U. S. Army veteran having served in the 82nd Airborne. He was a Master Carpenter. Scott was an avid Gator fan. His family best described Scott as just a “Country Boy.” He loved his family, and would do anything for anybody.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Susan Renee Dalton Eiland of Havana; his father and step-mother, John L. Eiland and Sandy Eiland; his two daughters, Crystal Eiland Smith and Amber Dalton; two brothers, Randy Eiland (and wife Patti) and Shane Eiland; two sisters, Jennice E. Kazimier (and husband Chris) and Denise E. Roberts (and husband Frank); and two grandchildren, Camren and Cassidy.
Scott was preceded in death by; his mother, Jean Marie Billings Eiland; and a grandson, Clayton Smith.
