Jesse Clinton Nazworth, Sr., 85, of Crawfordville passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 in Tallahassee. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carolyn Shiver Nazworth.
He was a life long resident of this area, was a Baptist and an avid hunter and fisherman. He retired as foreman of the Carpenter Shop at Florida State University after 33 years. He served in the United States Navy.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2013 at Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel, Crawfordville, FL.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Arran Cemetery, Crawfordville, FL. Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel, Crawfordville, FL is assisting the family with arrangements. (850-926-3333 or bevisfh.com).
He is also survived by five children: Karen King (David); Clint Nazworth (Chris); Lorinda Sanders (Lonzo); Darlynn Ard (Dan); Sheryl Kilgore; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents: George William and Ranna Harvey Nazworth; brother, Edsel Nazworth; sisters: Clifford Smith and Lillian Jackson and grandchildren: Melanie and Kevin.
