Joshua Timothy Wilder was welcomed in heaven early Sunday morning, June 9, 2013. He left us much too soon, a young man with great promise, who lived his life well. Loved beyond measure by his mother Lisa, father Bob, sister Courtney, extended family and more friends than one could count.
Josh, a ten-year participant in scouting, was completing his Eagle Scout Designation as a member of Troop 201. For 7 years running he was a member of Gadsden County 4H, showing Steers and Hogs, excelling in both categories.
Josh was a student at Robert F. Munroe Day School where he played football for two years and baseball for three years. For all his life he belonged to his church family at First Presbyterian Church Quincy, accompanying his mother on youth outings and trips as a young boy, and then faithfully participating as a full-gown member of the middle school and high school youth groups. Josh loved anything to do with the outdoors, hunting, fishing, swimming and playing. Everything he did was with determination, an infectious optimism, and a warm, sometimes mischievous, smile.
Josh, we will miss you and we will always hold you in our hearts.
