Havana’s semi-annual Donation Drive for Deployed Troops will be held at the town’s stage and fountain area Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free live music from four great bands will liven up the downtown area as Cheap & Easy kick off the day and are followed by The Renfroe Matthews Band. Ever-popular Swingin’ Harpoon Blues Band takes over in mid-afternoon, and a mystery guest band comes on stage after that to close out the day. You will not want to miss the National Anthem being sung by Allie McKay of Swingin’ Harpoon at 3:00 p.m.!
The beautiful antique and classic cars of the Tallahassee Region Antique Auto Club of America (TRAACA) will line Havana’s streets in their annual Cruise-In for the Troops, and veterans will be grilling hotdogs for donations at the stage area.
Members of the Gadsden Growers Market will open their produce sales for the season at this event! Organically-grown greens and other produce will be on sale at the fountain area, and will return for the next twelve weeks on Saturdays.
