The 8th Annual Jack & Jill Golf Tournament was held Friday, April 12, at the Havana Golf and Country Club. Fifty-six men and women from the surrounding area participated in the tournament. The Seineyard catered a wonderful seafood dinner. A silent auction was held and hole sponsorship was available to raise money for the Ladies Golf Association.
The flight winners are listed below:
Flight 1 – first place – Bill Cumbie and Lynn Marnie; second place – David Rankin and Chas Rankin; third place – Jimmy and Jean Hughes.
Flight 2 – first place – Larry Snow and Peggy Mason; second place – Jimmy Durden and Angie Hearl; third place – Charlie and Sam Thomas
Flight 3 – first place – Ed and Louise Bates; second place – Mike Hickman and Annie Wise; third place – Tim Maring and Janice Mazza.
Flight 4 – first place – Harvey and Jeannette Sweeney; second place– Bill and Thelma Freeman; third place – T. J. Davis and Mary Bert.
