The county’s committee that was assigned the arduous task of trying to re-design voting districts decided to send options to the Board of County Commissioners. Out of eight alternatives reviewed, the committee voted to send forward two sets of choices, both with and without precinct changes. The committee wanted to fulfill its federally-required duties of redistricting as well as make the least amount of impact on the county’s elections office, said member Joe Parramore.
