Grand theft of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of a crash were just two of the charges filed against Tavares Rumph of Quincy following an accident on Bonnie Hill Rd. (CR 269), the Florida Highway Patrol reports. Only minor injuries were reported in the incident.

Life-long Gadsden County resident Walt Dover was appointed by Gov. Jeb Bush to fill the Dist. 1 county commission seat vacated by the death of Bill McGill.
