County commissioners gave permission to Bostick Temple to move into a church building on its St. Hebron property and begin operations without following county development codes. The vote allowed the church to begin operations without building an on-site holding pond or paving the parking lot. Instead of paving, the lot would be covered in gravel. Commissioner Sterling Watson opposed the move saying it was unfair after other churches were required to pave their parking areas.
