Funeral services for Myrna Reagan King, 90, of Calvary, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at Calvary Baptist Church, Calvary, GA. Rev. Paul Day will officiate. Interment will be at Piedmont Cemetery, Calvary, GA. Mrs. King passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Friday, August 15, 2014.
Active pallbearers will be Eric Daughtry, Eric Singletary, Jason King, Jonathan Rabon, Scott Griner, Trevor Gwaltney, Dustin Haire, Charlie King and Taylor Singletary.
Mrs. King was born on October 21, 1923, in Cairo, GA, to the late Daniel Jackson Victor Reagan and Irene Selma Shiver Reagan. On February 7, 1947, she married Charles Young “C.Y.” King, Jr., who preceded her in death on February 7, 2004. She was the owner/operator of Seven Kings Store in Calvary until her retirement. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Calvary, GA.
Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Barbara King of Havana, FL, Curtis King and fiancé Kim Hester of Cairo, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Eddie Daughtry of Calvary, GA, Margaret McNeal of Cumming, GA, Sylvia and Bob Frohoff of Tallahassee, FL; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Selma and Wendell Prince of Cairo, GA, Elwanda Barrett of Cairo, GA, Willa and Deriek Sellers of Cairo, GA, Rebecca Ritter of Summerville, SC; brother-in-law, Carl King of Thomasville, GA; and sisters-in-law, Judy King of Tallahassee, FL, Jeweldene Brightwell of Thomasville, GA.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, C.Y. King; parents, Victor and Irene Shiver Reagan; sister, Ellaweese Reagan; sons-in-law, Dennis McNeal, Danny Gwaltney and Doyle Roach.
