Pansy Johnson, 83, of Quincy, Florida went to Heaven on Sunday, March 23, 2014.
She was born in Decatur County, GA and lived in Quincy most of her life. She was retired from Quincy Telephone Company and was a member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church.
Ms. Johnson (Memaw) is survived by her daughter, Gail Sellers and husband Sam of Harriman, TN; Grandchildren Kimberly Henderson, David Sellers and wife Mandi; two great grandchildren Kris and Jacob; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, Ramell and D. D. Johnson; brothers Sylvester and Edsel Johnson and sister, Madaline Stinson.
The family received friends from 5 – 7 PM Tuesday, March 25 at McClellan Funeral Home, 15 S. Jackson St. in Quincy and from 10 – 11 AM Wednesday, March 26 at Thomas Memorial Baptist Church with services following.
In her honor, the family requests that blood donations be made to your local blood bank or donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
