JAGS DRAGGED BY WALTON:
A nine-point loss to Walton High School sent the Lady Jaguars on a long, sad road trip back to Quincy, officially ending the season for the East Gadsden team on Thursday night.
Walton took the high-scoring contest 82-73 and will move on to the 4A Region 1 semifinals. East Gadsden will lose three seniors from this year’s squad – Clinesia Gurley, Cartesia Moore and D’Asia Warner. The team returns several top scorers and should be able to make an even deeper run in the playoffs in 2015.
2014 FOOTBALL DISTRICTS:
District football assignments for the 2014 season were released by the FHSAA but there are no changes for our county teams.
