Bernice Dykes Toole, 90, of Greensboro died Friday, January 10, 2014 at her home. She was born April 14, 1923 in Bonifay, Florida. She retired after teaching for thirty years, of which twenty-eight years was at the Greensboro High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Greensboro.
Visitation will be Monday, January 13, 6:00-7:00 P. M. at the Charles McClellan Funeral Home, Quincy. Service will be Tuesday, January 14, 11:00 A. M. at the Providence Baptist Church, Greensboro with interment in the Providence Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Johnnie B. Toole; daughter, Ann (James Brady) Hall of Greensboro, Stepdaughter, Sue Ellen Marlow Murray of Columbia, S. C.; grandchildren, Johnnie, Jimmy and Tim Hall, Stephanie Marlow Edwards, William Floyd Marlow, Mandi Rodriguez and Ricky Rodriguez; eight (8) great-grandchildren; and seven (7) great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Floyd Marlow.
