Samuel "Frank" Ulmer, 85, of Quincy, FL. passed away Monday, April 22, 2013. Frank is survived by his wife of 62 years, Norine; son, Stephen Ulmer; and daughter Sheryl Ulmer, both of Jacksonville, FL; one granddaughter, Brandy Littlefield of Tallahassee; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Jessie Lee Joyner of Quincy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years as a TSgt. Frank also worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 22 years. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church of Quincy.
Service was Friday, April 26, 2013 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Quincy with interment at Eastern Cemetery. Family received friends from 10:00 AM until service time, at the church.
