The Chattahoochee gang put on another fine party at the FSU spring football game last Saturday.
There was plenty of fine food, good spirits, and great fellowship at the tailgate gig.
Chief chef Kevin Bundy had the crawfish, sausage, corn and potatoes going and Denise Yon had her yummy chocolate peanut butter patties to take care of the food.
Butch Bundy, K.J. Johnson, the Scotts, Jay, Kim, Laurin and Chase, Don and Sue Cutchins, and Fletcher Morgan were a big part of the fellowship that for myself and girlfriend Tommee Stauffer have almost become a rite of spring.
Here’s looking forward to it next year.
Unlike Florida the previous Saturday, FSU indeed did have a spring game, which was a pass-happy affair.
Ninety-one passes were thrown in the 40-24 Gold win over the Garnet.
People in the stadium came out raving about freshman quarterback Jameis Winston’s arm. Winston, who also plays baseball for the Seminoles, apparently has played himself into contention for the starting quarterback position. That should help make for an interesting pre-season fall practice.
