MUNROE HAMMERS TALLAVANA CHRISTIAN
Munroe hammered Tallavana at Bradford May Field Friday night by a 22-2 score.
Sean Newton got credit for the baseball win. Colton McIntosh rapped a pair of hits and Myles Edwards and Bradley Klees had doubles. Edwards knocked in four runs and Klees plated three.
Thursday the Bobcats lost a district game to Aucilla by a 12-7 score.
Andrew Higdon had two hits in the game for Munroe and Klees and Will Harris had a pair of runs batted in. Edwards had a two-base hit in the game.
Munroe played a district game at John Paul Tuesday and will play another district game at FAMU Friday.
On Saturday, the Bobcats have a double-header scheduled in Cottondale facing Malone and Poplar Springs.
JAGUARS FACING BUSY BASEBALL WEEK
With rainouts and rescheduled games the East Gadsden Jaguar baseball team finds themselves in a busy week.
The 4-3 Jags started the week playing at FAMU Tuesday. They then hosted John Paul Wednesday and will host Madison at Corry Field tonight (Thursday).
Friday East Gadsden plays at Taylor Co. and will play a rematch game at Madison this coming Tuesday.
