Dorothy Dale Evans was born January 31, 1956 to the late Bertha Evans and George Felix Evans, in Havana, Florida.
She was called to Glory on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church with the Rev. John Gerald Lindsey officiating. Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She was a devoted companion to the love of her life, Charles Edward Parker, Sr., who preceded her in death.
Dorothy was a devoted Christian that gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was a member of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church.
Dorothy leaves to cherish her precious memories; four loving sons, Roosevelt Parker (Rondy) of Atlanta, Georgia, Charles Edward Parker (Alma), Eddie Lee Evans (Cathy) and Frazier Parker, all of Havana, Florida; two loving daughters, Katrina Johnson (Lonnie) and Shondora Parker, both of Havana, Florida; six brothers, Terry Evans of Jasper, Georgia, James Earl Evans and Michael Evans, both of Midway, Florida, Henry Lewis Evans and George Felix Evans, Jr., both of Tallahassee, Florida and Clarence Evans of Quincy, Florida; five sisters, Mary Ann Evans of Cairo, Georgia, Lashalls Evans of Jacksonville, Florida, Betty Joyce Evans, Maxine Evans of Havana, Florida and Marshall Evans of Quincy, Florida; one aunt, Elouise Henderson of Enterprise, Alabama; two uncles, Ray Lee Evans of Bunion, Alabama and Junior Evans of Decatur, Florida; six (6) grandchildren; seven (7) step-grandchildren; and a host of sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
